An Interview With Alex Kralie
We have a special treat for all of you today! The founder of Kralie Films himself sits down with us to answer a variety of your burning questions. Let's jump right in!

Interviewer: Thank you so much for joining us today, Alex!
Alex: It's great to be here with you. I heard that there were questions people were dying for me to answer, so I came over during a break from filming our newest series, Kralie in the Reel World.
Interviewer: That's great! Any hints on the subject of the latest episode?
Alex: [laughs] Let's just say you might get a shiver up your spine from this one.
Interviewer: So we're going spooky! Okay then, on with the interview. We know you're a busy guy.
Alex: I always have time for the fans!
Interviewer: How did you get into filmmaking in the first place? Was it a gradual realization or did you always know it's what you wanted to do?
Alex: Oh it was in me for as long as I can remember. Very few people have an innate drive to create, but you could say that I am one of the lucky ones. There is never a time that I am not working on my next idea. Most of the time I'm juggling multiple at once.
Interviewer: Wow, it must get hectic in that mind of yours!
Alex: It does, but that's how I like it. [laughs]
Interviewer: You used the phrase "drive to create". Can you elaborate on what the means to you?
Alex: Of course. It means that filmmaking is a part of me. Every cell in my body has one function, and that function is to create within the film medium. It's constantly pushing me forward to make bigger and better things. I can't ignore it. Not that I'd want to, of course.
Interviewer: We're glad you don't, because then I and everyone else at Kralie Films wouldn't have a job!
Alex: [laughs]
Interviewer: Tell us a little about the team you're working with right now. Are they meeting your expectations?
Alex: They're great! I think one of the most solid employees would have to be Jay Merrick, my assistant. Of course there are plenty of other amazing people that make this business a success. Naming them all would take up the rest of our time though. Needless to say, I am very thankful for all of them!
Interviewer: That's great! Now, I know you're knee deep in production for Kralie in the Reel World, which is a documentary series about film's impact on society and culture, but are you planning on going back to feature length narratives?
Alex: Like I said, I'm always a few steps ahead on what comes next. I'm currently workshopping a script titled "The Call Center". It's based on an awful job I had in the past (so glad I left!), and it's in the mockumentary style. I don't know yet if it will be a feature length film or if it will be a series. People might scoff at that type of genre these days, but trust me when I say that it will have many surprises that you aren't expecting from this well trodden ground.
Interviewer: Can't wait to see it! You do love throwing your audience for a loop.
Alex: I do, I do. Got to keep things interesting!
Interviewer: Well thank you so much again for taking to time to speak with me today.
Alex: It was my pleasure! Now if you'll excuse me, my phone buzzing tells me that I'm needed back on set!
